Sarah was pretty bored today. After shopping all day and not actually buying anything, she was pretty irritated. Usually she managed to find at least something. She sat on a bench in the park, pulling her skirt down slightly. She was going to have to visit her aunt soon, but she wasn't looking forward to it. She didn't want to see her after everything that had happened whilst she grew up. It had been years since she last saw her... Sarah slumped back against the bench, eyes closing slightly. Some day off.
Looking down at her legs, she began to question herself what had possessed her to not wear tights today. Her legs were pretty cold. Well, at least it looked good... her legs looked nicely tanned. That's where being a dancer came in handy... you always had good-looking legs.

Jack had been walking through the park, just getting away. It was his day off, and it came at a great time. He loved the theatre, but sometimes, he would feel cramped and suffocated in that theatre for so long. Luckily, it was a lovely day out, as he fixed his sunglasses back up on his face. The sun was gleaming down, on his face, and for once he wasn't thinking anything about his 'weakness'.
Golden blonde hair caught his eye, as Jack went over to well, talk to her. It was obvious, it was a girl, with knockout legs like those. If he was lucky, well he could very well end up with a date. Of course, as he got closer, he noticed it was Sarah. Well it wasn't surprising that he'd run into her in the park, an hour ago, he had run into Quinn, jogging through the stone arch near the centre of the park. Sure, he could always back up and leave, not bother her. But he was standing so close to her, she had to have noticed. So smirking, he nodded his head her way. " 'Ey there. Lovely weather isn't it?"

She had heard someone approaching and sighed. She sure as hell hoped that no one was trying to come and chat her up. That was another reason she shouldn't have not worn tights; she should have known that someone would see and oogle her. She had been about to sigh but then she heard a familiar voice after seeing a friendly looking shadow... surely that wasn't...
"Jack? Oh, yeah. It's gorgeous alright." She nodded, crossing her legs. Sarah then arched her eyebrow and looked him over, "So what are you doing here? Is it your day off, too?" Well, duh.

"Mmm..." Was his simple reply. Though he ended up adding onto that, since he didn't want to appear like an arse. He wasn't. "Hugh and Donna are doing there big opera singing number. No real need for me there. So I got the day off." He ran some of his fingers through his thick hair. Debating on how long to talk to her, before it was appropriate to leave, without seeming rude.
She couldn't possibly want him talking to her for too long. Seeing how they see each other on stage and back stage virtually every other day. He himself would have been fond of some idle chit chat with a new fresh face. He grinned though, down at her. "Chances are tomorrow will rain. So I'm real glad I...we got the sun on our day off. Bad luck for the others though, huh?" So he did sound like an ass. Still, why not revel in such a great day? There was no real harm in that, was there?

"Ah, so I guess that makes two of us." She nodded, smiling up at him. Sarah was curious to why he was talking to her, he'd never displayed much of an interest at all other than the occasional fleeting glance. But that was bound to happen, wasn't it? Hanging around women in unitards all day was bound to do that to him.
"Yeah, too bad for them." She looked out at the rest of the park and then back up at him, cupping her hand to prevent the sun from going into her eyes, shading them. "What brought you to the park? Trying to see the views?" She patted the space beside her.

Jack raised an eyebrow, that made it's way above the top rim of his black sunglasses. He spotted the gesture to sit down beside her. Well that was an actual invitation. So maybe his presence wasn't totally unwanted. After small debate, and not having much else to do that evening.
Well, a shrug from his shoulders and a small smile was all that appeared before he took a seat down beside her. Relaxing back, leaning against the back bench, his ankle came up and rested on his left knee. "It's a nice day. I'm not big on shopping. So I suppose for the scenary, yeah." Of course his type of scenary was more so the thin women running by, through the park. Not that he didn't enjoy the trees, and the sqwaking of the birds flying overhead.

Sarah smirked at his quirked eyebrow. How cute was that? She'd always thought that he was funny in odd ways... Well, funny for a bloke anyway. She laughed nervously as he mentioned his dislike for shopping. That was one of her passions. She lived for shopping and had a thing about wanting to please everyone that she met and felt embarassed.
"Funny that... I love shopping." She then looked out to watch a toddler and her mother frolicking near by. She hadn't had a life like that... that was what she wanted for her children (if she ever had any). She then sighed. "You would have thought I'd have friends or a boyfriend somewhere here, wouldn't you?" She'd been a model for so long that she was amazed by how normal and dull her life was... nor had that line meant to come out.
