Cady's OutfitCady hummed happily as she turned the page in her book, reading along as she took another sip of her coffee. It was such a perfect day out, and she couldn't have hoped for anything better. The sun, the breeze, the fact the cafe had a small bookstore in it. Laughing softly she leaned back in the patio seat, letting the warms rays of sun hit her face. Could today get anymore perfect? Silly question of course, she thought bitterly as she watched a couple walk by. It was her own fault of course, if she tried to she might have a slim chance with guys. "Yeah, and Tugger will shave off his mane"She said before realizing what she said. Laughing again she turned back to her book. Nothing like reading about someone getting killed to take her mind off relationships and the like.l

Janet's Outfit (top right)
Janet walked along, pushing her sunglasses up as they started to slide down her pointed nose. Sighing, she looked around for something to do. She hadn't had a cup of coffee yet, maybe she should go do that. Turning in her path and winding through the traffic of people, Janet noticed Cady sitting reading a book with a coffee. She'd go join her after she got her coffee. Walking into the little shop, she noticed all the books and smiled gently. "One cappucino, extra foam please." After paying, the slender Grizabella made her way over to where Cady was sitting. She pushed up her glasses and stood there for a moment. "Anyone sitting here?" She asked, trying to get a friendly smile to cross over her features. Cady was nice enough but right now she didn't seem too open for company... Maybe Janet should have just continued walking.

Cady glanced up when Janet started to talk" Oh! No one sweetie"She said, trying to sound respectful to the woman. Cady was only two years older, but Janet always made her feel younger than she was. Sitting up straight she folded down the tip of her page and closed the book, smiling over to Janet

Janet's lips curled up more easily. Cady was one of the only people who ever called her sweetie, and it made her feel welcome and safe. Well, to a percent. Not everything about everyone was great, but Cady was nice enough. Janet took the seat and took a sip of her capuccino.
"What book are you reading?" She asked, trying to be conversational. Lately, she'd been forcing herself to try and be more social instead of hermiting herself in her dressing room or apartment all the time. Being social didn't mean she had to date, as her mother CONSTANTLY told her to do in the letters Janet ignored. She read them, that was certain, but she never replied. It was her way of keeping herself protected from the dangers of overbearing people.

"Hm? Oh it's called And then there were none,it's a murder novel."She said, holding the book up while laughing"I must have read it fourteen times growing up and it's still as good as it was then." Cady leaned back in her chair, drinking a bit of her coffee before smiling over to Janet.
"Anyway, how has your day been?"She asked polietly.

(Sorry about taking so long. Been busy with school and whatnot... >.>)
Janet nodded her head with a small smile. Murder books were more her style. Things such as romance or the harlequin novels made the slender brunette want to barf a little in her mouth.
"I prefer reading murder novels. There's so much to learn and so much you can think about, even if you've read it before." Her smile warmed a little more and she took another sip of her capuccino. This was going to be a good conversation. It was already heading in that direction. When asked about her day, Janet shrugged a shoulder and looked around.
"Kind of just been shopping. Looking around at stuff. I've been trying to find something to send to my younger sister, and possibly my father. Not the easiest people to shop for, let me tell you..." With a rich chuckle, Janet sat back and took another long sip of her drink. It was true, shopping for her younger sister and her dad wasn't easy. Although her dad would've been happy with a pen, Janet wanted to make it seem special and closer to her heart.
