[Just getting it up here, it's not quite done yet]
History:
She was the second child of Judith Marie and Robert Allan Beckett, younger sister to Alex Richard Beckett [he was three at the time of her birth]. She was born at 3:42 AM on April 5th. She was always a rather sick infant, in and out of the hospital with various problems. Her most dominant was her ear; infections were common for her.
She was a small, quiet baby. She was sometimes so quiet that her parents thought she was mute. Her favorite baby food flavors were the banana and the pear, and she hated most of the vegetable ones. Her favorite toy was the rings. Before she was old enough to be able to stack them on the peg, she just chewed on them and put them around her arm and wrist, and she was content with that.
She started preschool at Shiloh Preschool at the age of three. She met her then best friend, Tracy Fultz, there. Her favorite activity was painting little wooden ducks. She was intrigued by the liquidity of the paint and how it spread onto the surface of the wood, even though she was not good with it.
Her only memory of kindergarten, which she attended at C.O. Harrison Elementary School, was the ‘pretend corner.’ It was a bit like a house, and it was a different theme every month.
She started dance in first grade, only because Tracy was doing it, and because she wanted to be a ‘pretty ballerina’ like the ones in her coloring books. Her friend dropped it after a few months, but she stuck with it, eventually having jazz, tap, modern, classical, and pointe under her belt.
Her life didn’t change much, in her point of view, when her parents divorced while she was in the second grade. She still got to see her father, even though she lived primarily with her mother, so she didn’t see much of a difference.
In third grade, she was admitted into an advanced program in her grade school. The only thing she thought about that was how it got her out of boring classes and she could do fun things with a small group of kids.
Her mother remarried in February of her fourth grade year, and at the end of the school year, her family moved to the other side of the city and she started in another school.
She got involved in theatre in high school, costuming and building sets for productions of a local school. It wasn’t until her junior year, when the school did ‘A Chorus Line,’ that she decided to try out, and she got a relatively large role. She did the school’s musical in her senior year as well, finding quite a bit of joy in performing. She changed her preferred major in college from developmental psychology to musical theatre, moving to New York City and performing in the odd show here and there during her college years. In her junior year of college, her agent told her about an audition spot in Cats. She thought the show was a little ridiculous, but would look good on a resume, so she auditioned and got the role of Bombalurina in the US tour. She stayed for a year before moving to the London Tour as Cassandra, where she is currently quite content.

RPG Sample:Kim flopped down onto the couch in her apartment, her expression bland. She wanted to do something. She wanted to get out and have fun. Shopping? Nah, too… clichéd. The gym? No, the creepy new instructor would be there. She flipped over onto her stomach, her hand hanging down over the edge of the couch and her fingers brushing against the thick rug on the floor. She had to do something! Her fingers brushed over her cell phone, which had somehow found its way onto the floor. Again. She picked it up and flipped through her contacts. Maybe somebody wanted to do something. Paige! She was always open for fun!
Hey, Paige! Wanna go do something? Oh! I know! Grab your black hooded cape and your bamboo cane, I have an idea.
She closed her phone and sat up. Oh, this would be fun. She straightened her clothes and started to fix up her hair before deciding it would just be easier to put it in a ponytail. She did just that and sat back down. She was forgetting something… Then again, she always had that feeling. Ah, well. If she was, it didn’t matter now. She grabbed her purse and gave her cat a quick scratch behind the ear before heading out the door.[/SIZE]

About Character
Name: Kimberly Margot Beckett
Nicknames: Kim [don’t call her Kimmy]
Role: Cassandra
Age/Year: 27
Tour Date: This is her third year with the show
Home Town: New Jersey
Appearance:
Celeb Appearance: Anne Hathaway
Personality: She is friendly, creative, and confident. Since she loves to talk and tell engaging stories, she has lots of friends and acquaintances and is pretty easy to get to know. She loves being in the spotlight and especially enjoys entertaining others with her clever wit and unusual sense of humor. She has little trouble adapting to change, and most people admire her adaptability. She prides herself on her creativity and ability to see possibilities where other people can't. She grasps new ideas quickly and enjoys learning new things, but is easily distracted and tends to get bored as soon as the challenge in a project is over. While she is easy going and playful, it is often a struggle for her to make decisions or commit to one plan of action for any extended period of time since she is so curious and eager to experience as much of life as she can.
She is also a very logical person and is bothered by inconsistencies and unfairness. She loves a spirited debate - regardless of the topic - but can sometimes be argumentative. Her spontaneity and enthusiasm is infectious, and other people often want to follow her lead. Since she likes starting things much more than she enjoys finishing them, she often has trouble slowing down, preparing carefully, and following through with her commitments. Luckily, she is great at improvising and gets a real sense of excitement from pulling things off at the last minute. She is also an excellent negotiator and can usually convince or charm other people into letting her have her way.
As a final note, she has suffered from paranoid schizophrenia since she was fifteen. It is not as bad as it once was, though, and it's more of a nuisance than a psychosis to her now. She doesn't really like to talk about it, but she will if somebody asks.
