About Character
Name: Jack Mallory
Nicknames: Jackie
Role: Rum Tum Tugger
Age/Year: 29
Tour Date: Been with it for 2 years.
Home Town: Inverness, Scotland
Appearance: He stands at about 6'0, pretty tall for a guy of his size. He doesn't really have the appealing muscular look, as he is very skinny. He isn't stick thin, not like some skin and bones people out there suffering from an eating disorder. No, despite being pretty thin, he is in excellent health, as far as no eating disorders go. His hair is nice, long, and thick. And by long, it doesn't go down past his ears and sits on his shoulders.
No, his hair rather sticks up in a original semi messy way, but it's always brushed and looks incredible. The chicks always dig his hair. The color of his hair is a brilliant chestnut. His eyes a a very deep chocolate color, be careful not to stare too long, it is said one could get lost in those brown orbs. And although he is not overly athletic, due to his thin nature. All those years of dance and theatre did build up his leg muscles. (Image Link)
Celeb Appearance: David Tennant
Personality: One would think, due to his tortured past, Jack would be either a recluse, or just a very screwed up human being. Ironically enough, he turned out pretty normal. Don't get him wrong, he's got his problems and has yet to deal with his past. One of the main reasons he sought the bottom of a bottle, to run away and forget about his past. This seems to be his answer to anything too touchy or too related to his past. The one and only thing that can get to him as much as it does.
All in all he is a good person, and by rights normal. Though only normal in most of his reactions to certain people, emotions, and danger. In no way is he what one would call a "boring" normal. As his past has really shaped him into the man he is today, he tends to laugh at everything, by making jokes. He does seem to find glee in random things, and though does take serious things seriously, he only ever seems to look as though he isn't taking it seriously. Mainly, because he might make a joke of it or their situation, or will make light of a serious ordeal. Because of his past, he has since learned to, in a way, become a little bit of a jokster, by hiding behind his comedy.
He is always confident, and when he's not, he'll still walk out of a room appearing to look confident. He is an actor, it's not that hard to pull off. The only times he ever loses his cool is when he is constantly bombarded with things just not going the right way, such as a really horrible date, or just a horrible god awful day, or when the subject of his past comes to light. He doesn't lose it, as in starts screaming. No with his past, he just is no longer confident and becomes very uncomfortable. Which in turn, has him at the end of the day reaching for a bottle. Ironically enough, it's the mysteriousness, and allure of his unknown past that attracts a lot of the females. Apparently, they like the mystery, and want to learn about it. This is one reason he has never had a serious relationship with a girl, and is currently single.

History: To be honest most of his past is shrouded in mystery. Most of the production crew doesn't even know much past the age of 19. The first year of his acting college. Not much is known about him under the age of 19. He was born and grew up in Scotland, however, he ended up moving to England and going to college when he was 19. Normally, the year and place of his birth is the only thing he ever reveals about his past. College, well was fun for the most part, as he was met and became friends with one of the present crew members of the CATS tour. He often wondered how that crew member could tolerate him, as he was a wee bit obnoxious during his college years. Not just obnoxious, but he was a trouble-maker.
He wasn't really a pimp, nor was he a player, but college was just the start of his long list of flings, one night stands, and very short lived girlfriends. None of those girls was he ever truly comfortable with, and so whenever they would ask about his past...He simply did not tell them. After awhile, the girls would give up, and sooner or later either him or they would break it off. He's used to being single, and would find it hard to ever trust a girl enough to confide in her. As, he believes most girls would leave him anyway, if they ever did know about his past. Sadly, college years was about the time he began drinking as well. For most of growing up, he didn't have to think of his past, and therefore, was pretty much free of it.
College years however, the question came up more then he cared to admit, especially among the females that he ended up dating. Not being able to run from it, and constantly being reminded of it, he ended up turning to alcohol, and realized for a little while, while intoxicated, he could forget all about it. Then before he knew it, he was simply addicted to it and could not stop. Luckily for him, he was a funny drunk, and being a bit of the joker, no one could really tell when he was drunk, since his personality, barely changed. He finally graduated college, and his friend got him an audition shortly afterwards on the first tour. He made it, and now this is second tour, and was asked to come back, by the director himself.

Other: Due to undisclosed problems, he suffers from a alcohol addiction. Something that sometimes interfers with his performance.

Gilberts ears folded backwards as the Phoenix yelled at him, but other than that he still was determined to stand his ground. He was doing it for Jean afterall. He winced, and bared his teeth a little as he felt the invisible force blocking off his air. He was slowly choking to death, you didn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. He struggled under her control, more so on instinct than anything else. When one can't breath, one automatically tries to.
He choked out, a few groans here and there, just trying to get any air, even a little bit, but nothing ever made it to his lungs. If he could talk, or think straight, he'd probably make a joke that he had a good run, even though he truly and honestly didn't. He was a poor excuse for a tomcat, and he knew it, too. He was struggling, and not thinking clearly, so barely heard the Phoenix speaking. If she was speaking to him, she must've not wanted a reply, he felt the grip get tighter around his neck. Any tighter and it would snap his windpipe.
Finally, after what seemed like all his nine lives gone, he felt the force fade away, and he dropped to the ground hard. Not that he was really lifted up in the air, but his upper body was now laying on the ground in a mangled fashion. He had let out a groan and then a raspy weezing noise. He was coughing uncontrolablly, and the pain was blinding. He wasn't dead and if he was, he must've been in the lowest basement of the dark cat. That didn't surprise him though. He wasn't exactly a saint. Though this got him thinking, that if Jean has done terrible things, when it was really the Phoenix in Jean's body, would Jean be punished for it in the afterlife? His eyes shot open at that thought, but his eyes did burn.
They were all red from the lack of oxygen, and his one paw was gripping his throat. His paw seemed like it was the only thing holding his throat together. In his mind he felt if he removed his paw his throat would just collapse, even though the other part of his mind thought that idea was perposterous. He blinked dry, red eyes over to Jean's direction, but his body still hadn't moved. He didn't think he had the strength to move in the first place. He tried to say 'Jean', but it came out as a wispy weeze.
